According to Wikipedia: In Chinese philosophy, the concept of yin-yang (simplified Chinese: 阴阳; traditional Chinese: 陰陽; pinyin: yīnyáng), which is often called “yin and yang”, is used to describe how seemingly opposite or contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world; and, how they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. Many natural dualities (such as female and male, dark and light, low and high, cold and hot, water and fire, life and death, and so on) are thought of as physical manifestations of the yin-yang concept. The concept lies at the origins of many branches of classical Chinese science and philosophy, as well as being a primary guideline of traditional Chinese medicine,[1] and a central principle of different forms of Chinese martial arts and exercise, such as baguazhang,taijiquan (t’ai chi), and qigong (Chi Kung) and of I Ching.
Yin and yang are actually complementary, not opposing, forces, interacting to form a whole greater than either separate part; in effect, a dynamic system.
Max and Coco, doing their impression of yin and yang above, have made our family complete. We are in effect, a dynamic system because of these two…a whole greater than any of our separate parts and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

aaawww they look so adorable! well we have 2 cats we’ve had 2 black gorgeous labs we had one back in 99 back when my husband was in the military in Washington State once we moved back to fla we had to get rid of her and had one about a year ago she was only 3 yrs old she ran away from my back yard so now we only have 2 cats……
We can only have dogs because my husband is extremely allergic to cats. My daughter loves all animals and would love a cat. I told her she’ll have to wait until she has her own place one day. 😉
We have a dog and a cat. And about two tons of soft toys. Thats enough for me!! ;D

Max and Coco look so cozy and cuddly! My husband has been wanting a Labrador retriever for some time now. But, I keep telling him to wait till the kids are old enough to care for the dog. It looks like we’ll be waiting a few more years till that happens . . . I’ve gotta get the new baby out of diapers first! 😉
Labs are great dogs…very intelligent. I definitely recommend waiting until the kids are a bit older though so they can help. My kiddos are super responsible with ours!

Awwww!! I have two puppies (they’re almost 10…): Bella and Hurricane. Bella was the first furbaby; Hurricane was a rescue from–wait for it–Hurricane Katrina. My husband was LIVID that I brought another dog home, so he got to name her. Obviously…;)
That is so sweet that you rescued yours from Hurricane Katrina. Ours are rescue dogs too. I love that he named it Hurricane! 😉
