The View From Here: Napa Valley

I spend a lot of time looking at life through my lens, and am often asked if I don’t feel like I’m missing out by having my eye glued to the viewfinder. My answer stands, “I feel I miss the treasures when I’m looking at the big picture.”

  1. Love your photos! I was a journalist/photographer for years. Sometimes I remember events through the lens, but like you, I love zeroing in on the special things. In 2004, I made six trips to Napa that year, working for Robert Mondavi and Stags Leap, doing my special Polaroid photos for them. It was a great year! Brenda

  2. These are some lovely shots! It’s been a long while since I was last in that neck of the woods. I’m hoping that the husband and I can make a trip that way next summer – visit my mom in Reno and then head over the mountain for a few days of exploring.

    • Thank you! I enjoyed taking them! This was my third trip to Napa and it never gets old. Amazing views everywhere, great wine of course, and at the end I always head back home feeling refreshed. I hope you get back there soon!
